estimated annual revenue will now blend with transformation consulting

Accenture has dissolved Song as a standalone reporting segment, folding the creative unit into a new enterprise-wide division called Reinvention Services. The move eliminates discrete revenue visibility for what was the firm's primary creative and experience offering, launched in 2022 from the merger of Accenture Interactive and several acquired agencies. Song's $10B+ estimated annual revenue will now blend with transformation consulting, cloud migration, and enterprise software work under a single line item.
The restructuring follows three consecutive quarters of muted growth in Accenture's "Interactive" legacy segment, which had been reporting separately until fiscal Q2 2025. Song absorbed roughly 18,000 creative and production staff across 53 countries when it launched, positioning Accenture as the world's largest agency network by headcount. That headcount has declined 12% since mid-2023, per internal disclosures, while consulting margins improved 190 basis points. The new Reinvention Services unit combines Song with what Accenture calls "industry transformation" work—supply chain redesign, operating model overhauls, sustainability compliance—none of which require creative departments.
For holding-company watchers and enterprise CMOs, the opacity is the point. Publicis and WPP report creative revenue separately, allowing allocators to model margin pressure and pitch-win rates. Accenture now obscures whether Song is growing, flat, or shrinking relative to its technology services. Two executive departures in Song's leadership—its global chief creative officer in November 2024 and its North America CEO in January 2025—went unannounced externally. Internal compensation structures shifted away from project-based bonuses toward consulting-style utilization metrics in Q4 2024, according to former Song employees. The message: creative is a feature, not a franchise.
The restructuring also signals where Accenture believes margin lives. Reinvention Services targets 22-24% operating margins, per investor presentations, versus Song's estimated 14-16% as a standalone creative unit. By bundling creative into transformation contracts—where a $40M operating-model redesign might include $6M of brand refresh work—Accenture avoids competing on day rates against independent agencies. It competes on enterprise lock-in. A luxury hospitality group considering a Song engagement now receives a single Reinvention Services proposal spanning brand strategy, customer data platforms, and staff training. Creative becomes the appetizer.
Operators should watch how Accenture's Q3 2025 earnings call (mid-June) describes Reinvention Services backlog. If the firm breaks out "experience-led" versus "operations-led" work within the segment, Song's relevance persists. If not, creative has been reclassified as overhead. Heritage agencies can also track pitch activity: Song historically led 60-70 global RFPs per quarter; a drop below 45 would suggest internal deprioritization. Meanwhile, independent agencies competing for transformation-adjacent work—brand architecture during M&A, customer journey mapping for private equity—face a consultancy that no longer needs to justify creative P&L separately.
Accenture's investor day in December 2025 will clarify whether Reinvention Services becomes its largest segment by revenue, which would make Song's contribution arithmetically undetectable without voluntary disclosure.

Your next customer won't visit your website. Their AI will.
AI assistants have quietly taken over the first step of buying — they answer from catalogs they can read and shortlist whoever can actually ship. Two questions now decide whether you exist to that buyer: can a machine read your catalog, and can you fulfill the order. Most brands fail one or both and never find out why the orders went elsewhere. The winners of this shift aren't the loudest. They're the most readable. Build for the machine that's about to do the shopping.
Built by the craft floor — apparel, media, packaging, and secure print.
This trade runs on hands, not desks. Imprint manufacturing & Komori heritage press through approved vendors · Canon high-speed secure-media operations is a craft floor — genuine Six Sigma discipline applied to ink, thread, foil, and registration, where a hundredth of an inch is the difference between a brand that reads serious and one that reads cheap. POPS4 is built by exactly those operators: independent, boots-on-the-ground engineers who carry their own book, read a client in microseconds, and put their name on every run. Beyond our own Virginia Beach floor, we work with a vetted network of craft manufacturers across the US — each meeting the highest excellence in QC standards in the industry, each a specialist in its own discipline — so apparel, hard-goods imprinting, media manufacturing, packaging, and secure printing all go to the bench built for them, coordinated from one accountable hub.
