Mid-campaign audience reshaping is now live on The Trade Desk via Dstillery AI agents; buyers value flexibility but say creative and initial targeting still drive outcomes.

The Trade Desk integrated Dstillery's AI agents into its demand-side platform, allowing programmatic buyers to reshape audience segments during live campaigns without pausing spend. The feature went live this month. No pricing changes were disclosed.
The integration connects Dstillery's ID-free modeling engine directly to The Trade Desk's Kokai operating system. Buyers can now request audience refinements—shifting from "luxury travelers in Northeast metros" to "luxury travelers booking international in Q1," for example—and receive updated segments within hours instead of days. Dstillery's system pulls behavioral signals from 1.2 billion monthly device observations across publisher inventory. The Trade Desk routes $10.8 billion in annual ad spend for brands including hospitality groups, automotive marques, and spirits portfolios.
The technical shift matters less for speed than for allocation flexibility. Campaign managers at holding-company trading desks told *Adweek* they see value in faster iteration but remain skeptical that agentic integrations will alter the core economics of programmatic buying. One buyer noted that knowing *which* audiences to build—and pairing them with creative that converts—remains more valuable than the ability to rebuild them faster. Another pointed out that most luxury campaigns run 60-90 day flights, making mid-campaign pivots uncommon unless performance falls sharply in the first two weeks.
The real test will be whether brands allocate more budget to programmatic channels because iteration risk drops. If a hospitality group can test three audience hypotheses in the time it previously tested one, the platform that enables that testing captures more spend. The Trade Desk's 34% year-over-year revenue growth in Q3 2024 already reflects rising confidence in programmatic as a primary channel for considered purchases. Dstillery, privately held since its 2018 pivot away from third-party cookies, has not disclosed client counts but works with six of the top ten global agency holding companies.
Two dynamics warrant attention. First, whether similar integrations appear on Google's DV360 or Amazon's DSP within six months—The Trade Desk often moves first on audience tooling, but scale players follow when adoption proves out. Second, whether luxury travel and hospitality brands begin structuring campaigns around faster iteration cycles, which would require creative production to accelerate in parallel. If audience segments can shift in hours but creative takes weeks to update, the operational advantage compresses.
The Trade Desk is scheduled to report Q4 2024 earnings in February 2025. Dstillery has not announced additional DSP partnerships but historically moves in six-month integration cycles.

Your next customer won't visit your website. Their AI will.
AI assistants have quietly taken over the first step of buying — they answer from catalogs they can read and shortlist whoever can actually ship. Two questions now decide whether you exist to that buyer: can a machine read your catalog, and can you fulfill the order. Most brands fail one or both and never find out why the orders went elsewhere. The winners of this shift aren't the loudest. They're the most readable. Build for the machine that's about to do the shopping.
Built by the craft floor — apparel, media, packaging, and secure print.
This trade runs on hands, not desks. Imprint manufacturing & Komori heritage press through approved vendors · Canon high-speed secure-media operations is a craft floor — genuine Six Sigma discipline applied to ink, thread, foil, and registration, where a hundredth of an inch is the difference between a brand that reads serious and one that reads cheap. POPS4 is built by exactly those operators: independent, boots-on-the-ground engineers who carry their own book, read a client in microseconds, and put their name on every run. Beyond our own Virginia Beach floor, we work with a vetted network of craft manufacturers across the US — each meeting the highest excellence in QC standards in the industry, each a specialist in its own discipline — so apparel, hard-goods imprinting, media manufacturing, packaging, and secure printing all go to the bench built for them, coordinated from one accountable hub. Short-run from twenty-five units, volume to five hundred thousand. Two hundred authorized national brands, seventy thousand SKUs with virtual proofing on every one. Art archived for instant reorders. Net-thirty corporate terms, NDA-standard white-label — your name on the work, or none at all.
Strategy, positioning, identity, creative, and messaging — wired into an AI system that publishes and distributes on its own. Nine editorial desks generate the authority, the production house ships the physical proof, and the attribution layer tells you which post sold which SKU. What you get is an operating layer — content, catalog, and order path under one roof — that keeps working whether or not you are in the room. Built for principals who would rather own the machine than rent the agency.
